This 3/4 inch automatic water level control valve employs a purely mechanical floating ball design — no external power, wiring or adjustment needed. Manufactured from high-strength nylon, it weighs 0.15 kg and fits standard UK 3/4 inch BSP threaded connections. Suitable for clean water only, with thermal limit of 70°C and pressure capability from 0.02 MPa (e.g., gravity-fed cisterns) up to 10 MPa (suitable for high-pressure commercial booster sets). The internal float rises with water level to physically block inlet flow, and drops to restore flow — providing intuitive, proportional control. Best deployed in domestic cold water storage tanks, rainwater harvesting headers, or pump-fed reservoirs using pressure-switch activation. For siphon or artesian feed, ≥15 m head differential is mandatory for consistent operation. Installation protocol: mount inlet pipe horizontally first; attach valve ensuring float points straight down; verify upstream isolation valve is fully open; if pairing with another unit in the same tank, set both at identical heights. Pre-use pipeline flushing is essential to prevent grit from restricting float motion or scoring nylon surfaces.
