Friction-Fit Alloy Door Knobs

Four friction-fit inner door latch knobs made from solid aluminum alloy. Total length: 4.9 cm (1.93 in); upper outer diameter: 1 cm (0.39 in); lower outer diameter: 0.6 cm (0.24 in); inner bore: 0.47 cm (0.19 in). Engineered to replicate the OEM press-fit behaviour of factory-installed pull pins — relying on radial compression and surface grip rather than adhesives or retaining clips. Material choice prioritises stiffness-to-weight ratio: rigid enough to transmit positive actuation force without flex, yet light enough to avoid stressing delicate latch linkages. Designed for vehicles with exposed vertical latch rods behind inner door handles — common in pre-2015 European platforms and many current light commercial models. Each knob installs independently; no alignment jigs or torque specs required. Set of four supports full-vehicle application across driver, front passenger and rear doors.
