Functions as a passive mechanical filter at the downspout mouth, rejecting leaves, moss fragments, silt and fine organic matter while permitting full-volume rainwater discharge. Installs via simple push-fit — no fasteners, sealants or adjustments required. Compatible with standard UK residential downspout profiles and materials, including uPVC, aluminium and galvanised steel. Recommended for use in high-risk zones: sloped roofs under trees, shaded north-facing elevations and properties adjacent to woodland or hedgerows.
