Description

Power Bank Virtual Load Anti-Shutdown Module Mobile Power Module

USB Power Bank Virtual Load Anti-Shutdown Module Switch output current via pin headers Installed with an LM317 power chip LED indicator For testing power banks and chargers Can also be used as a load to draw current, preventing power banks from shutting down due to insufficient current draw. Product Description This module can be used to keep the power bank running, including power bank and chargers, running. It can also be used as a load to draw current, preventing power banks from shutting down due to insufficient current draw. Most power banks automatically shut down after tens to several minutes when they detect no or very low current draw, similar to when a phone is full charged or unplugged. This module maintains a certain level of current draw to keep the power bank powered on. This module uses a USB-A port and can be switched between current draw levels by inserting and removing a jumper cap. The current draw is set to 25mA, 50mA, 75mA, and 150mA. You can adjust the current draw to suit your power bank's needs. If power remains on, simply insert another jumper cap. For example, if plugged into a 50mA charger, it will consume 50mA. If the power bank shuts down, plug in a 25mA or other charger until the current can keep the power bank powered on. The maximum current you can achieve is 150mA + 75mA + 50mA + 25mA = 300mA. Notes 1. This product consumes the power bank's energy and will generally run out within a few days. Therefore, it is not suitable for applications requiring long standby periods. 2. Current Estimation Method: Power consumption must take into account voltage conversion and conversion losses. A 3.7V lithium battery converts to a 5V output of 74%. Calculating the boost efficiency as 80% results in 74% x 80% = 59%. Furthermore, power banks used for more than six months typically experience capacity loss, so a 50% current reduction can be used for this calculation. For example, if the current setting is 100mA to keep the power bank powered on, this translates to a power consumption of 200mAh per hour. A 20,000mAh power bank can maintain power for approximately 100 hours. 3. This product does not contain data signal, so fast charging cannot be activated
