Radial Magnet Compatible Angle Encoder

Designed for use with radial multipole magnets, this MT6701-based module measures absolute angular position (0°–360°) by sensing the perpendicular magnetic field component generated as the magnet rotates above the chip surface. It supports dual-output modes: high-resolution 14-bit digital data via I²C or SSI, and flexible incremental signals (ABZ up to 1024 lines, UVW up to 16 poles). Also provides 12-bit analog or PWM output and a dedicated press detection signal activated by axial movement of the magnet. Powered from 3.3–5.0 V, it functions from −40°C to +125°C with < ±1° typical linearity and ≤ ±1.5° worst-case error. System delay is just 5 µs, enabling support for rotational speeds up to 55,000 rpm. Includes one encoder board, one radial magnet, and one pin header (colour may vary).
