Inflate lightly until the tube is round; this should be less than 0.5 bar/8 PSI.According to ISO/TC 31, when using rims with a ringless lip system, the tire pressure must not exceed 5 bar/72PSI.For every 3 (5F) increase in temperature, the tire pressure increases by about 1%. If you inflate your tires in a cool garage (18C / 65F) in the morning and then drive in a warmer ambient temperature (35C / 95F), you may experience increased tube pressure (e.g. 0.5 bar) /8 psi).When driving on hot black asphalt with temperatures above 65C (150F), the tire pressure can easily exceed the maximum allowed. In addition, excessive tire pressure can cause the tire to detach from the rim while driving, creating a risk of injury.
