Care Citrus trees prefer a light, sunny location, moderate water and some fertilizer regularly. With their preference for slightly acidic soil, it is best to mix potting soil with some garden turf. As for location, put the plants outside in full sun from mid-March to October, but allow them to get used to the sun for the first few weeks to prevent the leaves from burning. In October, it is best to bring the trees indoors for overwintering. After about two years, the first fruits will appear on the Citrus trees. Keep in mind that the trees must be protected during frost because they are not hardy. It is best to bring them inside or wrap them in foil against the cold.
