Monitoring and protection The module provides comprehensive monitoring and protection functions for generator frequency, generator voltage, generator current, engine oil pressure, engine coolant temperature, engine runtime, and battery voltage. It also displays engine speed. Fault detection and display When a fault is detected, the module automatically shuts down the engine and reports the exact fault on the module's LCD display or on the associated LEDs. PC configurability and control The module is PC configurable with digital and analog inputs, digital outputs, and automatic shutdown or warning when a fault condition is reached. It includes PSS output and is manually startable. LED indicators and mains monitoring The system includes configurable timers, inputs, outputs, backlit character LCDs, and LED indicators. It monitors the mains power supply and automatically switches to the generator when mains power fails.
