Features: LSM9DS1 is a multifunctional motion sensing. It is equipped with a 3-shaft accelerometer, a 3-shaft gyroscope, and a 3-shaft magnetometer. The LSM9DS1 is equipped with a digital, but even so it is flexible: it supports I2C and SPI, making it difficult to find an unavailable microcontroller. LSM9DS1 can measure three key characteristics of motion in a single IC. By measuring these three properties, you can gain a wealth of knowledge about the motion and direction of an object. The LSM9DS1 has labels indicating the shaft direction of the accelerometer and gyroscope, which share a right-hand rule relationship with each other. Each sensory in LSM9DS1 supports: the accelerometer scale can be set to ± 2, 4, 8, or 16 g, the gyroscope supports ± 245, 500, and 2000°/s, and the magnetometer has scale of ± 4, 8, 12, or 16.
