It features a superb 9mm wide cutting edge made of Blue Steel (Aogami no. 2) that has been expertly forged, and sharpened, guaranteeing that it is razor sharp right out of the package. This professional tool is handcrafted in Japan by skilled artisans and is of outstanding quality, and will last for many years. This corner cutter has a generous handle constructed of Japanese zelkova wood, which is strong and durable, as well as comfortable to grasp and apply pressure and control.This leather tool is sharp and no mallet is required when using, simply press with your hands and the corners will be sliced off quickly and smoothly.
