If bubbles are present, gently shake the electrode (similar to a thermometer) to remove bubbles from the sensitive bulb; otherwise, measurement accuracy may be affected. Calibration and testing of the electrode and pH meter: 1. Connect the pH electrode to the input of the pH instrument ensuring correct connection. 2. Perform calibration according to the instruments instruction manual and verify calibration results. Storage and maintenance of the liquid-filled composite pH electrode: 1. After use, clean the electrode with distilled water and store it in a protective bottle. Activate by filling with storage solution before next use. 2.
