Programming is conducted through the USB interface connector and serial peripherals signal converter, under computer control, simulating the computer's USB interface to serial port (commonly known as COM port), allowing the use of current programming, communication, and monitoring software. The cable is powered by the USB port and the programming port of the LOGO controller.
