How it works: 1. Chill the soda machine cylinder in the freezer for 1 hour. 2. Gather the items you need: wrench, refill adapter set, CO2 refill tank, and an empty soda cylinder. 3. First, locate the bleed valve and use a wrench to install the refill station onto your large CO2 tank (W21.8-14/CGA320). 4. Insert the empty cylinder into the fill station with a rotating motion. 5. Tighten the bleed valve securely to lock the cylinder in place. This is the key step and a key feature of our refill station, allowing safer refilling compared to other CO2 refill systems. 6. For most large cylinders: Turn the large cylinder upside down or lay it down. A merchant tank does not have a dip/siphon tube inside. 7. Slowly open the large CO2 tank to refill the soda cylinder with CO2 gas. After approximately 15 to 20 seconds, the cylinder will be fully filled. 8. Once fully filled, close the large CO2 tank valve first, then unscrew the bleed valve to release the gas and remove the cylinder. 9. Make soda water freely. Note: Although chilling the pink Sodastream cylinder in the freezer for 1–2 hours and inverting the large CO2 tank may help fill more gas, this refill method does not include a gas booster to liquefy the gas. It is simply a gas transfer between cylinders and therefore cannot fill as much gas as the original pressurized equipment.
