Beskrivning

- This device is a continuity tester for wires and other conductors. When the meter pens contact the two ends of a conductor, an audible and visual alarm indicates the circuit is conductive; if there is no alarm, the circuit is open or broken. - It is designed for thorough continuity checks, equivalent to a through-through test with a traditional multimeter, but simple and convenient to use. - Power and design: it runs on a 9V battery, which is replaceable by removing the back cover. The red and black meter pens act as a switch; when not measuring, the circuit is off and no current is drawn. A 9V battery can provide 3–5 years of use. - Pre-test procedure: before testing, short the meter pens directly. If the normal sound and light alarm occurs, the setup is functioning. If not, check the meter pens and the battery. - Applications: - Verify continuity of household wires and flexible cables to locate breaks. - Inspect automotive wiring harnesses and electrical connections. - Check continuity in appliance repair or DIY electronics projects.
